Katie Lynn Nixon's Birthday!

Kate has seriously been dying to have her birthday for months. Every time a friend would turn five she would cry because she wanted to have her birthday! The day had finally arrived. We had been in California the week before playing with cousins and going to DisneyLand. Birthdays are so magically when you are little. Kate woke up to a decorated house. She was dying to open her presents. We only let her open two presents before church. We made pancakes and she got to have her favorite cereal. At church they sang happy birthday to her and she brought a treat to share with her class. When she got home she quickly opened the rest of her presents and was in heaven all day.

She kept asking when the party was going to start. We had family come over for dinner and cake and ice cream.  Micah and Cameron put little presents in balloons that she needed to pop and she thought that was fun!

I can't believe I have a 5 year old. She is so grown up! She is alway asking questions, she is so cute with Cole and helpful, she is learning to read right now and is doing a great job. She listens to everything we say even if we don't want her to. She loves to dress up and play pretend, she loves dresses and skirts that spin, she loves that her hair is getting long, she loves to snuggle with you, she loves going shopping for herself, she is getting really good at coloring and loves to craft. The other day she said, " mom our family loves to craft. Dad, me, Cole and Mom all love it."  She loves riding her bike and scooter and she loves her aunts, uncles and cousins.
Happy Birthday Katie Lynn!
